FINANCIAL AID: Because our schools are nationally accredited and approved by the U.S. Department of Education, we are able to offer federal financial aid to qualified applicants. For additional information and details, please call or come in and visit with our Registrar. She will be most happy to assist you.

To apply for Federal Title IV - Student Financial Aid, you will also need to submit proof of:

• Registration with Selective Service (for males)
• Age, education & US citizenship; and/or
• Eligibility of non-citizen for federal financial aid

Student financial aid is money to help you pay for part of the cost of your technical education program. This aid is not based on age, but is based on your financial need.

PJ's College of Cosmetology also participates in the following programs: Veteran's Administration, Vocational Rehabilitation and JTPA.

SCHOLARSHIPS: Scholarships are available to students currently in school who prove to be outstanding and/or have excess need. These scholarships are administered by the Administration Office. Furthermore, the school may award a scholarship to any outstanding senior in an area high school. This award may not necessarily be made annually. The application must be submitted and reviewed by the Scholarship Committee, who will determine the amount of the award.
