You want a beauty school education, but there are a few things you have to do before you can start. Starting the enrollment process at PJ’s College of Cosmetology is meant to be as easy as possible. We try to be clear and helpful from the first time you contact us and throughout the entire enrollment journey. The Enrollment Process at PJ’s College of Cosmetology

The admissions team is ready to help you through the enrollment process whenever you are ready. Enrollment at PJ’s is ongoing throughout the year because class dates typically start on the second Tuesday of every month. Our convenient schedules are designed so you can easily get started on your education.

When you are ready to begin the enrollment process, simply fill out our enrollment form and we will contact you with your next steps. Part of the process includes scheduling a tour of the school that you are interested in attending. Seeing our facilities and meeting with current students and instructors is a great way to get to know the culture at PJ’s College of Cosmetology.

Once you express interest in enrollment, our team will put together all the details you need to know about your program of choice, requirements, tuition costs, and class schedules. Financial aid is available to those who qualify, and we have a financial aid representative who can answer your questions about that.

If you identify as having special needs, we do provide reasonable accommodations. Speak with your enrollment advisor about any accommodations needed.

When you have completed the enrollment process, you can wait until a member of our admissions team contacts you to let you know if you have been accepted as a student at PJ’s College of Cosmetology.

The School Tour

Each of our eleven campuses throughout Indiana and Kentucky are unique, and yet they all demonstrate the friendly, vibrant culture of PJ’s College of Cosmetology. Touring the campus of your choice is a key part of your enrollment process because it allows you to see the place where you could be getting an education in the near future. You will be able to tour the classrooms, student salon, and other areas of our facilities. You will also have the opportunity to chat with an instructor, meet with current students, and get some of your questions answered. We hope to see you soon!

Admissions and Enrollment FAQs

Are there part-time schedules available?

Most locations offer part-time schedules, but the exact schedules vary per school and program. Full-time schedules are typically 30 hours/week, and part-time schedules are 20 hours/week.

Is a school tour mandatory?

A school tour is highly encouraged because it gives you the opportunity to experience PJ’s College of Cosmetology in person. Getting to know the school you want to attend can help you decide whether you want to enroll or not. You can contact our admissions team to schedule your tour at a time that works best for you.

Does PJ's offer financial aid?

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. You can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to find out what you may qualify for. You can also apply for a scholarship from PJ’s College of Cosmetology. Contact us to discuss your financial aid options.

How much does it cost to attend beauty school?

The costs of your tuition will vary depending on which course you choose and which campus you want to attend. Contact us to obtain specific pricing estimates for your educational track.

Do I have to pay for books and materials?

All of the written course materials for our programs are in an electronic format, and they require a tablet or phone to access. Students must provide electronic access or purchase a tablet from the school. No paper copies are provided. There is a kit and materials fee for each program that is added to the tuition. You will receive information about this during the enrollment process.

Can I transfer from a different beauty school to PJ's and receive credit for the hours I have already completed?

We review each transfer request on an individual basis. If you wish to transfer or reenroll into PJ’s College of Cosmetology, let us know, and our school director and CEO will review the situation and make a decision.
